The Waterfalls
The National Park is home to the world’s strongest waterfall, Murchison Falls. The famous Murchison Falls, also known as Kabalega Falls, are waterfalls between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the Victoria Nile in Uganda. The waterfalls are regarded as the world’s strongest waters thus a safari here will count. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, with only 7 meters width, and tumbles 43 meters deep before flowing westward into Lake Albert. The outlet of Lake Victoria sends around 300 cubic meters per second of water over the falls that squeezes into a gorge less than 10 meters wide wow. This, therefore, makes the waterfalls the strongest in the world and one of Uganda’s most celebrated natural wonders.
